This song was included when Kamo Mabuchi presented him with a cane to celebrate Tayasu Munetake's 50th birthday.

[Kamo Mabuchi] 1697-1769 Scholar and poet of the mid-Edo period.

Born March 4, 10th year of Genroku. He learns from Haruma Kada. After Shunman's death, he went to Edo and served Tayasu Munetake in the 3rd year of Enkyo. He studied the classics, focusing on the Manyoshu, and emphasized the significance of Japan's ancient spirit (koi and kodo). He also wrote Manyo-style songs and influenced the poetry world. His disciples included Motoori Norinaga. He passed away on October 30, 1873. he is 73 years old. He is from Totomi (Shizuoka prefecture). His real surname is Okabe. His names are Harusu, Masami, and Masafuji. His common name is Sanshi. He has a separate name for his prefectural residence. His writings include ``Kokui-ko'' and ``Manyo-ko''.
