Kamatari is depicted in morning clothes in a half-prostrate position with his left leg raised, sitting on a floor on a tatami mat with Fuhito and Sadae, and behind him is a three-sided divine mirror, a bamboo blind, a tobari, and a pine tree with wisteria entwined with it. The screen is majestic.
This type of iconography is called `` Tōnomine Mandala'' and is known as a representative example of the Fujiwara Kamatari statue.
