The painting starts from Shinbashi Bridge and depicts people visiting the grounds of Rinnoji Temple, Takio Shrine, Futarasan Shrine, Kirifuri Falls, and Ganmangafuchi. The green of the trees, the navy/light blue of the running water, the vermilion of the temple, and the golden clouds in the background are all vibrant colors, making this a highly decorative and gorgeous scroll. The author, Tenyu Kono (?~1802), is also known as Eiju. He was ordered by Shigeki Hachisuka, the lord of the Tokushima domain, to become an apprentice to Norinobu Eisenin, the sixth generation of the Kano family in Kobiki Town, and in 1884, he was appointed as the domain's official painter, and came to be known as ``Awa Tan'yu.'' . This volume was also probably produced by order from the feudal lord, Shigeki.
