1887-1945 Japanese painter from the Meiji to Showa periods. Born in March 1899. Participated in the formation of the Kuronekokai in 1943. After 1945, he mainly exhibited at solo exhibitions. His paintings are about people suffering in a wandering life. In his later years, he turned to religious painting. He passed away on December 25, 1945. He is 59 years old. Born in Kyoto. He graduated from Kyoto City School of Arts and Crafts.
