【Emperor Gokomatsu 】
The 100th Emperor. The first son of Emperor Go-En'yu.He ascended to the throne at the age of 6 after his father. The Muromachi Shogunate was in its heyday when the third Shogun, Ashikaga Yoshimitsu, received the Sacred Treasures from Emperor Gokameyama of the Southern Court, who accepted Yoshimitsu's proposal in 1593 (Genchu 9), and the Northern and Southern Courts were unified. He had Emperors Shoko and Gohanazono ascend the throne and ruled as an inn. Ikkyu Sojun was his biological son.
