A transcription of the Goshui waka collection on purple cloud paper. It is said that it was named because it was the bequest of Shokado Shojo(松花堂昭乗), one of the three masters of the Kan'ei era. While unique calligraphy styles developed from the end of the Heian period through to the Kamakura period, this style retains the gentle charm of ancient times, and gives the viewer a relaxed and calm impression.
