This is a token of gratitude for the gift of a kosode (shoulder sleeve) and a barrel that Tadaoki gave to Tadanaga. Tadanaga was promoted to Gon Chunagon on July 27, 1626. It is said that he moved to a new residence in the Kitanomaru at the end of the same year, and this document is thought to have been presented in February 1626 as a congratulatory gift for the move.
