【Suimutei Syouroku】1779-1845. Ukiyo-e artist and samurai of the late Edo period. Born June 12, 1777. A shogunate official. Learned painting from Hosoda Eiichi and kyoka from Yomo Akayoshi (Ota Nanpo). He left behind hand-painted portraits of beautiful women in Eiichi's style, such as "Standing Beauty." Died September 12, 1745. Age 67. His given name was Nobuyasu.
