[Dakinitten/Takinitten/Dakinitten] A demon deity in Buddhism. In esoteric Buddhism, it is a Yaksha deity belonging to Daikokuten, and is located in the outer temple of the Taizokai Mandala. It is said that it has the power to know a person's death six months in advance and eats their heart. In Japan, it is considered to be a fox spirit, and is confused with the Inari faith.
